AustraliaThe grip is a great design and gives great feel, although it didn't last long for me. As the grip wore, it became VERY slippery. The more I sweated, the worst it became to the point, I couldn't use the raquet anymore without an over-grip or a replacement of this grip. It lasted 4 months playing twice a week before I couldn't play with it any longer.
Hi Dave, thanks for your review and feedback on the Sublime Replacement grip. Whilst a feature of this replacement grip is to provide feel and grip, the main purpose of a replacement grip is to provide cushion / comfort. Subject to how much tennis you play, and the acidity levels in your sweat, to get 4 months of grip out of a replacement grip (without an over grip) is quite good. Typically players will put an over grip (like the Wilson Pro Over grip) over the top of a replacement grip. This is done for 2 reasons; to enhance the “grippy-ness” and to protect the replacement grip. Once an overgrip loses its “grippy-ness” these can be replaced cheaply, as they are around $5 per grip, instead of $15+ to replace the replacement grip all the time. Hope this helps?
